This is a hands-on class where you will learn how to make the basic pasta dough, knead it, roll it and
cut it into different sizes for different applications. On the beginner course we will learn how to make
tagliatelle and a filled pasta maybe even Anolini from the Piacenza area of Italy.
We will also discuss various sauces to go with pasta and make puttanesca sauce to go with our lunch
pasta and at least one filling possibly roast butternut with ricotta and sage butter sauce.
A lunch of pasta, salad and homemade bread helped down with a glass or 3 of Prosecco.

Make dough from scratch, by hand, allow it to rest before rolling it out whilst discussing Italian
regions and their food
Learn about different pasta shapes whilst making 2 or 3 different ones
Make and discuss pasta sauces and fillings as well as storage tips
Group Lunch/dinner and Prosecco or wine
leave with goodie bags, thank you and “arrivederci”.
